PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS AGM 2021

It has been another difficult year for everyone with normal life and sporting activities continuing to be seriously impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite these difficulties, Combined has organised training for its boys whenever the authorities made fields available.

Working within COVID-19 protocols, our 12 volunteer coaches and officials organised training sessions for 26 weeks of the year ended 30th June 2021. Our programme supports over 80 boys and delivered more than 2500 hours of coaching during the year  As ever, my thanks go out to all of my colleagues.

Our programme would not be possible without the continued generous support of our key sponsors - CyanSYS, NLT Limo, NetworkBox, VGC Technology, The National Youth Council and Adidas. All businesses are suffering due to COVID-19 and so their support is all the more remarkable and much appreciated. Many thanks to all.

All of our boys and coaches will be fully vaccinated by mid August 2021 and with an increasing percentage of the population being vaccinated I look forward to easing of restrictions and hopefully a return to normal football activities in the near future and a fully competitive season in 2022
